In 2009, Intrado deployed the nation’s first 911 text messaging service with Black Hawk County, Iowa, and most recently enabled the launch of a text trial with the city of Durham, N.C. Intrado also announced that it has teamed with the city of Durham to launch North Carolina’s first NG-911 network.
