Telewave President and co-founder Raymond L. Collins passes

Raymond L. Collins: 1932-2016

Raymond L. Collins, President and co-founder of Telewave, Inc., passed away in San Jose, Calif., on March 15, 2016, after a brief illness. He was 83.

Ray Collins grew up in the Yakima Valley of Washington State, and worked for several local broadcast radio stations in the 1950's. He served in the Army and National Guard during the Korean and Vietnam wars, and worked for RCA and Motorola in the San Francisco Bay Area for 20 years following his military service.

Ray Collins co-founded Telewave, Inc. in 1972, and was a past president of the Communications Marketing Association and a Fellow of the Radio Club of America.
