IWCE's 3-hour workshops can be very detailed and informative, but audience attention can wane during the latter stages of a session. David Rush, Cradlepoint's senior product manager for hardware and firmware, used a unique technique to address this longstanding problem prior to his presentation at the two-hour mark of a Monday workshop at IWCE 2018 in Orlando. Audience members were fully engaged as Rush balanced a chair on his chin—all while moving to the ground, executing a sit up, and returning to a standing position.
