Assured Wireless: Tom Bilotta calls high-power tech a ‘game changer,’ expects products this year

Assured Wireless CEO Tom Bilotta explains how LTE high-power user equipment (HPUE)—technology that can be used in the U.S. only on the 700 MHz Band 14 spectrum licensed to FirstNet—promises to impact the user experience, such as roughly doubling the range of a device and improving performance in elevators and stairwells. After years of preparation, HPUE products are expected to be introduced to the market during the latter half of this year.
