ITEC: Walt Magnussen recaps highlights of Winter Institute, outlines future plans for event
Walt Magnussen, director of the Texas A&M University Internet2 Technology Evaluation Center (ITEC), provides an overview of this week’s Winter Institute, which provides a real-world environment for first responders to “experiment” with cutting-edge communications in a real-world disaster-response scenario, and outlines goals for next January’s event.
The Winter Institute is conducted at the Disaster City facility on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas.
