Cornell University: Danny Adams explains how blockchain technology could work for public safety
Danny Adams, a computer-science student at Cornell University, describes how proof-of-witness technology could ensure that blockchain technology can be used to ensure secure information, even when the user is disconnected from the cloud for a period of time. In addition, direct-mode communications could allow notification to other users in the area when connection to the primary network is lost.
Adams spoke with IWCE’s Urgent Communications Editor Donny Jackson during the recent PSCR Public Safety Broadband Stakeholders Meeting conducted in Chicago.
