Texas A&M ITEC: Walt Magnussen previews next month’s Winter Institute public-safety workshops, field exercises
Walt Magnussen, director of the Texas A&M University Internet2 Technology Evaluation Center (ITEC), outlines the workshops and field exercises that will be conducted as part of the annual Winter Institute, which will be conducted Jan. 27-31 at the Disaster City facility on the Texas A&M University campus in College Station, Texas. Next month’s field scenario at the Winter Institute involves an multijurisdictional response effort that complicated by a cyberattack, which debilitates the P25 radio system and other key assets.
