Sprint recently lowered the price of its Ready Link push-to-talk service to $10 per month, a $5 decrease, The Wall Street Journal reported. The Journal also said Sprint would introduce a P2T-enabled handset that retails for $69.99 after rebates, considerably less than a comparable phone offered by competitor Verizon Wireless. Sprint currently has about 275,000 P2T customers; in contrast, Nextel Communications has about 13 million P2T customers.
