Donor Antennas

Westell donor antennas lead the industry in performance and specifications. All of our yagis feature ruggedized construction, DC grounded active element, super wide bandwidth and good F/B ratio. Our model CS03-003-430 covers both the 700 and 800MHz bands in a single antenna. We also offer VHF and UHF full band yagis that support 136-174 or 406-512Mhz in a single model. Westell’s High Isolation donor panel features wind rating of 170MPH making it ideal for our coastal markets requiring hurricane rated antennas, plus with a gain of 16dB and a F/B of over 32dB it solves issues such as high interference and poor donor signal levels.

UL2524 Listed BDAs and Battery Backup

Westell BDAs and Battery Backups are optimized for compliance with NPFA/IFC code with easy to navigate computer GUI, adjustable passbands and independent gain adjustment per band. Our newest series, the Enhanced PS BDAs feature UL2524 Listing, front panel alarm annunciation, built-in audible annunciator, Intelligent Oscillation Management, built-in battery charging and alarming. It also has the smallest footprint of any dual band BDA on the market requiring only 26” x 48” for a full BDA/BBU installation. Also available are class A 700/800 plus VHF and UHF BDAs with 32 filters per band, channelized squelch, integrated spectrum analyzer and much more. The BBU-002-48 Series of battery backup units are offered in 3 variations, single BDA version, dual BDA version and a model offering a compact remote annunciator providing status on both BDA and BBU.

Splitters, Couplers, Tappers, Filters, Antennas

For the indoor passive network Westell offers the widest range of very competitively priced splitters, couplers, tappers and antennas. Our line of Red Passives are optimized for public safety applications with IP67 ratings and red paint to help distinguish them as part of a public safety DAS. We offer two series, 340-2700MHz and 136-960MHz frequency ranges. Our indoor antenna line includes both slim-line and regular economy style ceiling mounted omnis plus directional panels. Add to these a full complement of cross band couplers and filters specifically for public safety DAS and it’s clear that Westell offers the complete solution.
