John Serio, manager of product management at Harris, outlines the capabilities of the XL-185M, the company’s new P25 mobile radio that also supports EDACS and conventional operation. In addition, the XL-185M includes a slot for an LTE card to enable broadband communications. The LTE cards are expected to be commercially available early next year.
