Houston alerted to possible terrorist plans

The Associated Press has reported that the FBI notified Houston law enforcement agencies of possible plans for a terrorist attack against oil refineries in the Houston suburb of Pasadena.
The news report indicated that the suggestion of a possible attack may have come from interviews with detainees at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base who were captured in military operations in Afghanistan. The first interpretation of the intelligence information led the FBI to send an advisory to its Los Angeles field office in connection with nearby Pasadena, Calif. But there aren’t any refineries near Pasadena, Calif., so the advisory was rerouted to Houston.
