The 800 MHz Transition Administrator (TA) this week released an updated version of its reconfiguration handbook that includes many updated policies that have been released separately during the past few months.
This Release 2.0 of the handbook includes guidance based on the FCC’s Oct. 5, 2005, memorandum and order that resulted in modifications t the Atlanta-area band plan. Also featured are more complete discussions of the payment processe, educational reimbursement policies, and a section on fraud, waste and abuse.
“The TA continues to provide guidance to facilitate the affected community’s ability of all stakeholders to achieve the goals of 800 MHz Reconfiguration,” TA Director Brett Haan said in a prepared statement. “The publication of Release 2.0 of the Handbook represents many improvements to the A processes and policies that have been influenced by lessons learned in the first eight months of this multi-year program.”
