The New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research has awarded a $305,500, Center for Advanced Technology Development award to the Rochester Institute of Technology, Syracuse University and SUNY at Buffalo.
The New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research has awarded a $305,500, Center for Advanced Technology Development award to the Rochester Institute of Technology, Syracuse University and SUNY at Buffalo. The award supports research on a wearable, wireless, three-dimensional locator for fire, police and emergency responders using radio frequency technology. Spectracom will match a portion of the grant to support Syracuse University’s Computer Applications and Software Engineering Center.
