Portland, Ore.-based National Interop announced that the Tillamook County, Ore., sheriff’s office has purchased its mobile command and communications vehicle. The vehicle uses Radio Over IP (ROIP) technology to deliver interoperable communications. In addition, it can serve as a temporary replacement for a 911 center by dispatching radio calls on multiple frequencies simultaneously, according to the company.
