Verizon: Cory Davis discusses carrier’s $119 million communications investment to support Super Bowl
Cory Davis, director of Verizon Response and public-safety operations, outlines the company’s efforts to provide appropriate communications for the massive amount of data traffic associated with Sunday’s Super Bowl on Sunday. Verizon has invested $119 million in fiber, cell sites and other infrastructure–almost all of which will remain at the site to support future events–as part of its initiative to ensure that attendees, staff and first responders can access high-speed 5G and other reliable broadband.
