It’s a miracle
In many parts of Florida, commercial wireline and wireless communications systems were rendered useless recently as four hurricanes within six weeks wreaked havoc on the electrical power grids that support them. Communications officials say the episode is a sobering reminder of the importance of public-safety-grade land mobile radio systems–one they hope budget-conscious elected officials don’t forget in the future.
