Potomac Spectrum Partners: Bruce Scapier outlines how TASSTA enables interoperable LMR, smartphone nets
Bruce Scapier, president and managing member of Potomac Spectrum Partners, explains how the interoperability solution from partner TASSTA will be leveraged to make the company’s proposed TETRA system beneficial to non-TETRA users in the United States, including those who have other LMR devices and smartphones. TASSTA is one of three integral partners in the Potomac Spectrum Partners initiative, with the others being TETRA technology partner PowerTrunk and Space Data, which deploys near-space balloons that act as “towers in the sky” to maximize the coverage footprint.
