Hacker takes over transmissions at Detroit burger restaurant
Police in Troy, Mich., a suburb of Detroit, are looking for a person who successfully used the frequency normally used by a Burger King restaurant in the city to broadcast obscenities over a drive-through speaker, reported the Associated Press. The incident occurred on at least three occasions. Police believe the person is using a radio transmitter or walkie-talkie near the restaurant to jump onto the frequency. Police said the perpetrator would be charged with a misdemeanor if caught, the AP said.
