Lyrtech today announced the introduction of the 105 MHz ADACMaster II digital signal processing (DSP) board, which offers higher sampling speeds and architecture modifications that address key aspects of various wireless standards, including 802.11. The higher sampling rates are capable of sampling wideband signals with IF frequencies and “bandwidths of interest” up to 55 MHz and beyond. The higher sampling capabilities are helping the company “push the envelope of software-defined radio computing within the realm of system-level tools,” said Louis Belanger, executive vice president and product development manager at Lyrtech Signal Processing, in a statement.
