Wireless handheld vendor palmOne announced that schools purchasing at least 30 of its Tungsten C models through the company’s Education Purchase Program would receive file distribution and exchange software that could be used to create wireless classrooms. LearnTracFX developed by The Readiness Company, enables teachers to efficiently conduct routine tasks — such as distributing and collecting assignments and study materials for an entire class, selected groups, or individual students — via a wireless network.
