Motorola will install a digital radio system for the Taiwan Coast Guard to replace a legacy analog system, the Wall Street Journal reported today. The deal reportedly is worth $3.5 million. The system will carry both voice and data transmissions and includes 422 portable radios for personnel and 38 mobile radios for vehicles and boats, the Journal said.
