M/A-COM announces wins
M/A-COM has been awarded a $2.2 million contract from the United States Enrichment Corporation in Paducah, Ken., to provide an eight-channel ProVoice EDACS (Enhanced Digital Access Communications System) trunked radio system. In addition, M/A-COM won a $3.6 million contract from Somerset County, Md., to deploy a communications system consisting of its EDACS technology, the ProVoice analog and digital communications network, and a two-site, 800 MHz, GPS simulcast system that will provide both digital and analog coverage. Finally, M/A-COM was awarded a $2.1 million contract from Duck River (Shelbyville, Tenn.) Electric Membership Corp. to install a conventional, Project 25-compliant UHF radio system that will offer trunked radio system capabilities.
