Iridium Satellite LLC recently reported that its revenues grew by 17% in the first half of 2004, and that its subscriber base now totals more than 100,000. The company also said it has added 2000 to 3000 subscribers each month since relaunching service in April 2001, and that it is now EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) positive. Last month, the Federal Communications Commission granted access to an additional 3.1 MHz of spectrum, the company said.
