The Greater Copenhagen Transport Authority is the first organization to use the network, deploying it to the 1200 buses it operates; the network also will be deployed to subway trains operated by the agency. Motorola signed a six-year contract with the agency in 2003 to provide equipment, airtime and maintenance services; airtime is provided by TetraNet, in which Motorola Denmark owns a majority stake.
