T-Mobile to deploy Nokia push-to-talk-over-cellular solution
Nokia announced that T-Mobile would launch a push-to-talk-over-cellular (PoC) service in fourth quarter 2004 deploying a carrier-grade network solution developed by Nokia. Germany will be the first company to receive the service. Nokia said the service would be the first PoC offering launched in Europe. The vendor has developed four PoC handsets to dats, with two currently available and two others set to ship by the end of this year.
