EFJOHNSON

The Conventional IP™25 Voter helps correct the imbalance caused by high-power transmit sites with a large talk out range and low-powered mobile and portable radios with a relatively small talkback range. The IP25 Voter works with geographically dispersed receive sites to extend the talkback range of conventional mobiles and portables. A single IP25 Voter can support up to 16 receivers operating on the same frequency. Its inherent IP architecture enables low cost, single-site or wide area systems and simple implementation of features such as multicast and transmitter steering.

ZETRON

Zetron’s end-to-end IP-based console solution is built on the SIP protocol a widely accepted open standard that ties together VoIP with the underlying protocol standards such as UDP and TCP/IP. Users can share a common voice communications IP network with SIP-based telephony and full-featured radio dispatch. The system consists of PC operator positions running application software and Series 6000 SIP Radio Gateways. The connection between the operator positions and gateways is an IP LAN or WAN. The architecture of the console system makes it inherently distributed, avoiding the requirement to concentrate equipment in a single vulnerable site.
