Addison, Texas-based Medhost announced its Emergency Department Information System has been integrated and proved interoperable with Ascom’s FreeNET Voice Over Wireless Fidelity (VoWiFi) technology. According to the Medhost, emergency alerts now can be distributed to multiple types of wireless devices carried by clinicians in a hospital setting.
