Astron Wireless Technologies unveiled a new line of block-up converters used in the transmission of satellite signals. The converters are designed to translate L-band satellite input frequencies to the C, X or Ku bands. Options and features include output filtering, extended temperature range from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius, low phase-noise and a rack mount. The company also introduced block-down converters for frequencies from above 1 GHz to 2 GHz. The devices feature input filtering, custom configurations, a rack mount and extended temperature range of -40 to +85 degrees Celsius, according to the company.
