Raytheon Co.’s JPS Communications has been awarded a $5.4 million contract to supply Canadian-based ATCO Electric with a Project 25 (P25) radio solution that will let public utility personnel share information in real time. The company will deliver an 80-site P25net digital trunked radio communications system and provide system integration services including project management, installation, training and 24-hour technical support. The system includes additional components from Advanced Digital Systems and Tait Radio Communications.
