DuraComm unveils hardened power supplies
DuraComm unveiled a new line of environmentally hardened power supply products, dubbed the EH Series. The entire product line has been designed specifically for use in harsh operating environments and installations, said Tom Zillner, the company’s president and co-founder.
The EH-12-15N, the EH-24-10N and the EH-48-5N are indoor/outdoor power supplies housed in 16-gauge steel NENA-approved 3R enclosures, and which are now dust-proof and moisture-resident, Zillner said. Additional features include low voltage disconnect, LED indication for DC out and AC failure, an internal battery and welded wall mounting brackets.
“It’s a straight-forward power supply in a hardened enclosure,” Zillner said. “It can be used and adapted to any combination of power levels, voltage or amps determined by the user.”
The company also introduced the EH-30, a 400 W power supply with universal AC input, a working temperature range of -30° to +50° C (-22° to +122° F) and a battery back-up with charging circuit that provides up to 30 amps of power. Additional features include built-in parallel capability for load-share applications, and protections against overload, over temperature, over voltage and short circuit. It also meets RoHS compliance for non-toxic electrical components.
Each of the new products comes with the company’s standard two-year warranty, Zillner said.
