Kenwood unveils VHF/UHF portables

Kenwood USA this week introduced the TK-2312 (VHF) and TK 3312 (UHF) conventional portable radios. The 5 W, 128-channel radios are targeted to the public-safety and business/industrial sectors. They feature an eight-digit display with RSSI and function/status icons, a four-color LED, nine programmable function keys and a lightweight 2000 mAh Li-Ion battery. Both versions meet the MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F/G and IP54/55 standards for water and dust intrusion, the company said.
