The Harris RF-7800B is a SatCom-on-the-Move (SOTM) Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) terminal. Permanently mounted on a vehicle, the RF-7800B provides uninterrupted network connectivity while traveling at speeds of up to 70 mph. The device can provide satellite communications for public safety or emergency management agency applications in a mobile command post. The RF-7800B offers continuous satellite tracking and connectivity with data rates up to 492 kbps when mobile. It features a Web-based interface for configuration and control of the terminal for standalone operation. The RF-7800B meets military standards for rugged environmental requirements and is designed for use in harsh environments.
