Vertex Standard debuts two-way radios for industrial/commercial markets
Vertex Standard has launched a series of portable two-way radios ideally suited for users looking for a means of efficient co-ordination to maintain productivity, jobsite safety and responsiveness to production problems or injuries. The new VX-450 Series portable radios and VX-4600 mobile radio provide expanded safety and security functions for cost-effective communications.
The VX-450 Series will feature emergency and lone-worker safety alerts built-in with man-down alert and intrinsically safe radios as options. Channel announcement, 700-mW loud audio output and VOX capabilities are also built-in for expanded responsiveness and productivity. Additional features offered will include: voice inversion encryption, MDC-1200 encode/decode and 2-tone/5-tone encode/decode built-in. Frequency ranges include 134–174 MHz, 400–470 MHz and 450–520 MHz.
The VX-450 portables also consist of a full keypad (16 key) model and a four-key model, both with eight-character alphanumeric display and 32 and 512 channel capacity respectively, as well as a non-display 32 channel capacity option.
The VX-4600 mobile model features an eight-character alphanumeric display, 512 channel capacity and six programmable buttons for enhanced group communications.
As with all Vertex Standard radios, the new VX-450 Series and VX-4600 are backed by a full three-year warranty.
