From Connected Planet: Sprint announced today that it plans to launch its own LTE network next year, and plans to cover about 250 pops by the end of 2013. The carrier initially will operate its LTE network using its existing PCS spectrum, but eventually will have to shut down much of its 2G and 3G data networks to find the additional spectrum it will need.
