Program finalized for IWCE’s Network Infrastructure Forum; advanced registration ends next week

The educational portion of IWCE spans a full week, and there’s even training on Sunday this year. But most of the packages will be pricier on Jan. 29. The Advanced rates end at midnight on Jan. 28, so prices will go up by $50-$100.
IWCE’s Network Infrastructure Forum, hosted by IWCE and AGL Media Group, will go from $649 to $749 after that date, so make sure you register before next Thursday. The Forum begins on Tuesday morning with a keynote address, presented by Matthew Bailey of TechrIoT, who will talk about “Smart Cities: Where Will the Future of Wireless Infrastructure Take Us?” Tuesday afternoon includes an armchair interview of Marc Ganzi, CEO of Digital Bridge Holdings, by Jennifer Fritzsche of Wells Fargo. Wednesday morning’s keynote address will be presented by Allan Tantillo, T-Mobile’s national director of development and siting policy.
Tower and site owners can learn about the “The 21st Century Cell Site,” and how technology is revolutionizing it, as well as “Maximizing Your Tower Site’s Value.” Building owners can examine the business opportunities of using DAS and Wi-Fi to increase coverage and capacity for their facilities with sessions on “Wireless in Casinos and Hotels,” “Aesthetics and Location: The Small Cell Site Acquisition Puzzle,” and “DAS and Small Cells: In the Field With Enterprises and Public Safety.”
Speed and connectivity are addressed in “Front, Backhaul and C-RAN: Our Need for Speed.” Attendees can learn discover that “Taking Advantage of the Opportunities Offered by FirstNet” can enhance their business plans, and the future is bright when discussing convergence in “Future 5G Revenue Opportunities.”
Industry leaders from Black & Veatch, Dragonwave, B + T Grp, Cambium, Cobham Wireless, NATE and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will share their knowledge in these discussions and throughout Tuesday and Wednesday. Stay for the general session on Thursday morning on “Operating Parallel Networks – Managing LMR and LTE Simultaneously,” and visit the Network Infrastructure Forum exhibitors in aisles 200, 300 and 400 to see, touch and examine the equipment for the next generation of infrastructure.
