Tower Summit moves to New Orleans
Shorecliff Communications, the San Juan Capistrano, Calif.- based organizer of the annual Tower Summit trade show, has relocated the event to the Ernest Morial Convention Center in New Orleans. The event is scheduled for Nov. 12-14. Andrea Downs, president of Shorecliff, said the move was made “to accommodate an expanding show floor and a growing number of attendees.”
Downs said that since the Tower Summit premiered in 1997, it has grown steadily. She said that this year’s attendance is expected to set a record. Responding to the growth, Shorecliff has added a new trade-show-only pass, good for both days and entrance into the keynote addresses.
The Tower Summit is expected to log an increase in carrier participants, more industry investors, panels with more than 50 speakers, five concurrent educational sessions, networking galas, a fishing and golf tournament, and the presentation of Excellence in Business awards.
“Owners and operators of wireless infrastructure play a critical role in the deployment of successful wireless networks, thus explaining the growth of the Tower Summit show and making it the key event for anyone in the industry,” said Downs.
She said that attendees can expect a focus on infrastructure, the coverage and capacity strong wireless infrastructure provides, new global market opportunities, in-building solutions, funding strategies, clustering for better capital efficiency, network sharing and building hotspots.
