Centurion Wireless acquires Allgon Mobile
Centurion Wireless Technologies Inc. has announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Allgon Mobile Communications (AMC), a division of Swedish based Allgon AB. Allgon Mobile Communications is a global designer and manufacturer of antennas for mobile phones and communication devices with operations in Akersberga, Sweden and Beijing, P.R.C. The acquisition, nearly doubling Centurion’s global production capabilities, will make Centurion the world’s largest engineering designer and manufacturer of antennas for the wireless communications industry.
The deal is valued at $20 million.
Centurion also noted that AMC, which has operations in Akersberga, Sweden, and Beijing, specializes in RF, electrical, and mechanical engineering and has strong customers relationships with Europe’s mobile communications OEMs.
