Trompeter introduces Dielectric BNC Tool

Trompeter, Westlake Village, Calif., has announced the introduction of the RTC-1L BNC removal tool, an updated version of the RT-1L removal tool.

The RTC-1L is similar in size and construction, but features dielectric coating over the metal barrel (collet) and shaft, where the potential for shorting might exist. The tool allows technicians to engage the coupling sleeve of the standard BNC connector in situations where equipment density is tight.
