Hughes launches satellite-based WiFi for RVers

Satellite communications provider Hughes Network Systems (HNS) announced that it is offering broadband WiFi Internet access to leisure travelers, initially targeted at the national RV park and resort market segment as a value-added service.

The network will use Hughes’ nationwide DIRECWAY broadband satellite service with service levels based on the preferences site operators and customers. Travelers will be able to self-subscribe for the service at participating RV parks and resorts.
