Visto/Motorola tool available to TELUS clients
Visto Corp., recently in the news for a series of patent suits against Microsoft and Research in Motion, has partnered with Motorola to deliver communications solutions exclusively to TELUS clients across Canada. The companies’ joint offering includes Visto’s mobile push e-mail service software running on the Motorola Q to provide mobile users with access to e-mail, contacts, calendar and other data.
Cisco enhances its wireless network solution
Cisco Systems released version 4.0 of its Unified Wireless Network Solution. The new version features enhanced security, voice over Wi-Fi and location-based services, according to the company.
Radio IP announces beta product test program
Radio IP Software introduced a beta product test program to provide customers with early access to next-generation products. Initial beta installations include the company’s GPS product line, which will be available in fall 2006, according to the company.
