Motorola enhances its mobile VPN solution
Motorola unveiled new enhancements to its Multi-Net Mobility, including a new network switching feature and support for additional wireless network interoperability. In addition, optimized network switching has been added to the product’s intelligent routing suite, according to the company.
L-3 acquires Nova
L-3 Communications acquired Nova Engineering for $45 million in cash, plus an additional purchase price not to exceed $10 million, contingent upon Nova’s future financial performance, according to L-3.
Companies partner on government contract
Aruba Networks will work with General Dynamics under the U.S. Air Force Network Centric Solutions indefinite-deliver, indefinite quality contract for WLAN and mobile technology services. The contract lets the Air Force, Department of Defense and other federal agencies buy network-centric information technologies and voice, video and data communications hardware and software through one vendor.
