Parsippany, N.J.-based Willtek Communications unveiled the 9103 handheld spectrum analyzer that operates at frequencies up to 7.5 GHz. It supports microwave applications and measures channel power, occupied bandwidth and adjacent-channel power ratio. Additional measurements include tracking generator-based cable measurements, radiation emission and radio-frequency pollution. According to the company, it can be used to test aviation signals, a directional radio, a very small aperture terminal and signals in the 5 GHz unlicensed band, such as wireless LAN and WiMAX.
