IWCE issues call for papers
IWCE is accepting abstracts for its 2011 conference, which will take place March 7–11, 2011, in Las Vegas. Abstracts are due Aug. 10.
All abstracts are reviewed on the basis of applicability, originality, conference needs and speaker qualifications. Decisions and selections will begin after the deadline. Notifications will begin in October.
The conference is no longer asking interested presenter to submit their proposals through e-mail. A new Web-based form collects information. To submit an abstract, go to www.iwceexpo.com, and click on “Become a Speaker.”
IWCE gathers more than 6,300 participants in Las Vegas each spring, including 4,400 public-safety professionals, dealers, wireless service providers, IT professionals, technology end users and consultants. IWCE 2011 features a five-day educational program of workshops, seminars and special events focusing on spectrum utilization, emerging technologies, land mobile radio and broadband mobile data.
All speakers receive a premium package that includes admission to all IWCE conference sessions, special events and the exhibit hall and one ticket to the networking reception). Speakers also receive visibility and national exposure in the printed attendee conference brochure, official show directory and on www.iwceexpo.com.
