911 Enable’s E911 solution now available for use with Microsoft Lync
911 Enable, a division of Connexon Telecom, announced that its E911 call routing solution for Microsoft Lync Server 2010 is now publicly available. 911 Enable adapted its Emergency Routing Service (ERS) to interoperate with the native E911 capabilities of Lync Server 2010.
The ERS is an E911 SIP trunking service that provides organizations with connectivity to PSAPs across the United States. When 911 is dialed, the ERS routes the emergency call and the caller’s accurate location information to the appropriate local PSAP. It helps organizations meet their state and local E911 regulations, ensures on-site security are notified of all emergency situations, and supports off-campus users in a manner that is both elegant and simple to manage.
