The IMPERATIVE │Connnecting the Public and Public Safety Communications
Public-safety communications is at an important juncture. During an emergency, first responders need to be able to communicate with one another. Similarly, the general public must be able to be notified about an incident or call for help. But the majority of emergency incidents occur indoors where both LMR radios and cellular phones are often impacted by limited RF signal performance that ultimately leads to miscommunications and potential casualities during critical responses. To date, the response to solve this imperative has been awkward and conflicted.
This webinar explores how the in-building wireless issue is being addressed by the public safety ecosystem and stakeholders from venue owners and 3PPP's/carriers, to first responders and the developing efforts and implications of FirstNet.
