Consortium announces certified service centers
The Consortium for Certified Service Centers announced more than 200 approved certified service centers, bringing the total to more than 300 service locations in the United States that have met set standards for excellence in customer service and technical expertise in technology industries. The CSC has named more than 165 companies in the wireless industry as certified service centers over the past two years. The program was launched in 2001 as a program designed to recognize electronics and appliance service companies that met or exceeded a set of specific requirements geared to measure technical competence, sound business practices, presence of proper test equipment, appropriate physical plant and a documented approach to improving and maintaining customer service standards, according to the consortium.
